Agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you and [Legal business name, e.g. APX Learning Institute LLC] (“APX”). By booking a call, buying sessions or using this website, you agree to them. If the student is under 18, the parent or guardian agrees on the student’s behalf and is responsible for payment.
Our services
APX provides one-on-one and small-group tutoring for the SAT (Math and Reading & Writing). Sessions are delivered by tutors chosen by APX. Session length, format (online or in person) and schedule are agreed when you book.
Packages and payment
- Prices: $35 for one session, $175 for 5 sessions, $335 for 10 sessions, and $2,800 for the Score Program. Prices may change for future purchases, never for sessions already paid for.
- Payment is due [before the first session / in full at purchase].
- Unused sessions in a package expire [e.g. 6 months] after purchase.
Scheduling and cancellations
Please give at least [24 hours] notice to reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows [count as a used session]. If APX cancels, the session is rescheduled or credited.
The 30-minute rule
Every student is assigned 30 to 60 minutes of homework per day. Completing it is part of the program, and whether it was kept affects eligibility for the money-back policy (see the Refund & Money-Back Policy).
No guaranteed score
Results depend on the student’s starting point, effort and test-day performance. Except as stated in the Refund & Money-Back Policy, APX does not guarantee any particular score, admission or scholarship outcome. Practice-test scores and examples on this site are not promises of future results.
Academic integrity
APX helps students learn. We will not complete graded schoolwork, take tests for students, or help anyone break College Board rules, and we may end services if asked to.
Materials
Lesson materials, worksheets and practice questions created by APX are for the enrolled student’s personal use and may not be resold or shared publicly. SAT® is a trademark registered by the College Board, which is not affiliated with and does not endorse APX.
Conduct
Students, families and tutors treat each other with respect. APX may pause or end services for abusive behavior, non-payment or misuse of materials, and will refund unused prepaid sessions in that case unless the Refund Policy says otherwise.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, APX’s total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the services involved, and APX is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer-protection law.
Governing law
